At Piney Woods Rhodesian Ridgebacks, we have taken something which started as a family passion for the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed, and over the years have become small occasional breeders. We don't breed as a source of primary income but try to produce superb pets at affordable rates to enable others to enjoy the same pleasure we have had in making one of these exceptional animals a valued member of the family. We are careful to breed only our pets that have been fully screened for breed typical health problems, are exceptionally clever, have friendly dispositions, and fit in seamlessly as incredible family pets. We breed responsibly and according to the best practices of the trade and try to add value through socialization and interaction with all of all our pups. We don't produce litters often and limit any female we breed to only one or two litters. These are our pets first and foremost, whose overall health and happiness is our first priority. Producing exceptional puppies is our goal as well as a small bonus for us to spend time with all these amazing animals.
